These terms cover the use of joyprobe.com. Reading the site means accepting them. They are short because the site is simple.

What this site is

JoyProbe is an informational, editorial index of free games published on Google Play. Every entry is installed, played across several sittings and written up by hand. Scores, session lengths and opinions are the view of the desk and nothing more; they are not a professional recommendation and they are not a promise about how any game will behave on your device.

How the site is funded

JoyProbe shows no advertising, sells no placements and charges readers nothing. Scores are the opinion of the editorial desk.

No affiliation

JoyProbe is independent. We are not connected with Google LLC, with Google Play, or with any of the developers whose work appears on the site, and none of them commissions, reviews or approves what we publish. Product names, store listings and store ratings are quoted for identification and reference.

Intellectual property

Game titles, application icons and screen captures belong to their respective rights holders and appear here under fair quotation for the purpose of description and comment. The wording, structure, layout, styling and the JoyProbe name belong to the JoyProbe desk. Do not republish our text wholesale; a short quotation with a link back is welcome.

If you hold rights to an image on this site and want it removed or credited differently, write to team@joyprobe.com and it will be handled.

No warranty

The site is offered as it stands. Store data moves: ratings shift, listings are updated, titles are pulled from a region by their publishers. We check before we publish and we correct what we are told about, but we cannot guarantee that every figure matches the store at the moment you read it. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of these pages.

Links leaving the site

Links to Google Play open a service we do not operate. Once you follow one, the terms and the privacy policy of that service apply, not ours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
